The Federal Ministry of Health has officially launched National Gender Mainstreaming Manual on 9th April, 2014 at Dream Liner Hotel.
On the launching ceremony, various invited guests including the State Minister of the Federal Ministry of Health were present. On the occasion, the manual’s focus and its importance has been briefed by technical experts who engaged in the preparation of the manual.
The Gender Mainstreaming Manual contains five chapters and conceptual frameworks, gender responsive planning frameworks and M&E tools.
The manual has been acknowledged by the participants and invited guests as one of significant documents that help as a tool to track on the effort to meet the MDGs and the GTP from the health perspective.
