Realizing the need for institutional framework (platform) for coordinated population and reproductive health activities, the Consortium of Reproductive Health Associations (CORHA) was established by seven founding local and international organizations in 1995. The founding members include;

Currently, CORHAs membership has grown from seven to more than 100. Membership in CORHA is open to all Ethiopian resident and international charity organizations working on RH/FP and related are as.
CORHA is non-partisan, non-for-profit umbrella organization of NGOs committed to provide reproductive health information and services in Ethiopia. Its ultimate goal is improving the overall health status and quality of life for all the people, thereby contributing to national development. CORHA strives for equity and empowerment of communities and members through effective partnerships and participatory processes.
In the last eighteen years, CORHA has managed comprehensive program interventions and registered encouraging results that complement the implementation of the Ethiopian government population and health related policies and programs. As a result of its effective program implementation and achievements, CORHA today has established excellent working relations and got reputation, cooperation and support from the public sector institutions, its member organizations and partners.
